If only I'd have carried on.

Post by nuggitt »

I took myself off for a quick ride out to Sherburn Yesterday afternoon. I was on my way back when I had a choice of going in two different directions. I picked one of them and got half a mile down the road when I thought to myself I'd be better off going the other way. Up ahead I saw a big pull in for a big house so I pulled on to it and I was slowly manoeuvring the bike round and the front wheel went into a pot hole with loose gravel in it and I lost my footing and over she went. I tried to lower it down to the ground as best I could, but I didn't escape from getting any marks on the fairing :crybaby: :crybaby: :crybaby: Luckily a cyclist was riding by and he gave me a hand to lift the big lump back on its feet.

looks like another trip to the paint sprayer. I'm starting to think I'm his best customer. :( :( :(

It could have been worse I suppose if it had caught the tank.

Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

You can't do anything about it once it gets passed that point of no return. :crybaby:

Even worse when your foot is jammed under it and your ankle is buggered for two months.]
