Birthday boy.

Post by nuggitt »

Well it's finally happened. Today is my Birthday and I'm now officially classed as an old aged pensioner.

Is it time to hang the leathers up and don my slippers and start smoking some old shag in my pipe. After the ride out on Tuesday with Mike I don't bloody think so!! Shhh it wasn't me officer.

My old girl ( who's Birthday it was yesterday) is taking me out for a nice Italian lunch today.

If anybody wants to send belated birthday cards please enclose a tenner. Its not easy running an exup on my pension you know.
Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

Happy Birthday, John.
Hope you had a good blowout at lunch and a bottle or two of Chianti. No doubt your lady had a taxi waiting to take you home. A great lunch always beats a great dinner because when you wake up you still have the evening ahead of you to get stuck into the after-lunch brandies.
Anyway, what's pension age these days?
Keep on keepin' on.

Thanks for all the greeting's everybody. Its been a lovely day and you were right stig. I got a flashback when I tried to blow the candles out and singed my eye brow's

Like Teego said, I'd prefer to eat at lunch time. We are going over to some friends of ours to carry on with the celebrations shortly. Takes it out of you all this socializing especially at my age. I'll be on the Sanatogen fortified wine tomorrow for a pick me up.

If it has been a landmark birthday I think you'll need more than that. I suggest early doors and a couple of large, very dry gin martinis. Like putting steel rods in the backbone. Of course it's only a delaying tactic and since it's a long weekend it may take until Tuesday or Wednesday for you to dry out.
How old are you anyway? Anyone older on here?
Keep on keepin' on.

Happy birthday and let's hope that old age doesn't start to make you forget all the tips and advice that I am no doubt going to need in the future :D

Have you forgotten who you are? I'm sure if you ask Matron she'll tell you. She remembers everything.
Keep on keepin' on.
