Side stand switch poorly

The place to come to share your technical expertise, or just find out what the little springy thing is that's just pinged out of sight under the work-bench.

Side stand switch poorly

Post by Should know better »

Morning Peeps, just a quickie. My side stand switch doesnt appear to have survived its petrol bath (as part of a thorough de greasing of the bikes nether regions). I am presuming the petrol has cleaned away any grease that helps the switch spring in and out now my question is wheather or not I can take the switch apart and re lube it or if its a case of sourcing a replacement.

Cheers.

Does the plunger move at all. As mine was playing up and found it was'nt travelling fully along its path..sprayed it with ACF50 and 5 mins later a few taps with hammer and it's all good again.
Whoops there goes another bit :)
