Float height.

Hi everyone.
Sorry I'm not about much but got a lot on at the mo.
I seem to remember a long while back there was a way of checking/setting float height using a credit/plastic card with cut outs on it.
Has anyone any idea of it please? I'm rebuilding a set of carbs and best check/set the floats.
I bought an ultrasonic cleaner off fleabay and it's the muts nuts at cleaning.

I've been looking for that for ages. Just couldn't find it. Old age is over taking me I think. That's why I bought an MT 09 to catch up with it.

Right. I've sonic cleaned the carbs. Had to swap about diaphragms. New seals. Set floats and all other bits.
It now only runs on No 1 and 3. 2 and 4 ain't happening.
Help!! Please....

And I've fitted new inlet rubbers.
When I put the balancers on there is no vacuum showing unless I rev it.

Might have split diaphragms somewhere when putting them back in?
Or maybe they're not seated properly in the caps?

That's what I thought. Been back through them. Everything ok.
Got a feeling maybe air screws leaking as the o ring look flat as a witches....
