Slave clutch Piston

doing a bit of fault finding

had to strip and clean the slave cyclinder and piston.could anyone please confirm if the main seal in the on the right way round or should the lip be facing the other way?

Can't remember off the top of my head but I have a spare in the garage loft. I'll try to remember to check for you when I get home from work

Piston wouldn't budge even with 10 bar behind it so it got sacrificed for the sake of information. Hole drilled thro centre and m6 thread

Thank you I guess it is right.

Sorry you had a to drill the slave cyclinder:(. I hear grease gun works wonders on old stuck pistons

grease gun is magic by the way...8000psi of joy...just remember to change your bleed nipple for a proper fitting grease nipple or else you will have a right bastard of a time getting it off/crying when it snaps :D

if you do go down this route and dont want to waste grease/have to clean and fish it out of everywhere fill your caliper/clutch slave with water first, then you wont use as much/hardly any grease.
