Servo motor plastic gears

Post by redapple »

Hello

new to the forum. finally got my exup valve working but having a problem with my servo motor. Its seems to be a bit jumpy, So I took it apart and found that one of the plastic gears is missing about 3 teeth. I was wondering if anyone had encountered this problem and where I might be able to purchase the plastic gear.

It looks pretty simple to change.
The gear in question has 15 teeth on the hub and 48 teeth on the cog.

Any help much appreciated

thank you

Couple of options

Rotate gear 180 degrees so it uses the other side of the cog.

Or been told the gears in the early R1. Servos are the same so could source one cheaper as more available

I will probably have to source one as the teeth are broken on both sides:(
