Weird poser for you all.

The place to come to share your technical expertise, or just find out what the little springy thing is that's just pinged out of sight under the work-bench.

The pain will soon turn to pleasure again once I get it sorted.
Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

Still not got my old crate sorted. We've been through everything four times over. Gone back to basics now. Just had some new sparkplugs delivered. If they don't cure it, its back to the drawing board.

It has to be the shock that you fitted :D Keeping an eye on the thread to see what it is that is causing the issues. Still am sure it is the shock

Don't laugh Kevin because it has crossed my mind to take it off just to see.

Weve gone through everything possible three or four times over and can't get to the bottom of what's causing the problem. Carb's off again tomorrow for the fifth time.

One day I'll bring good tidings.

Mine was running badly and the problem was the plug caps. A quick (and cheap) check is to wrap them up in insulation tape and see if things improve.

Visually they looked OK but were arcing inside the head.

I know this sounds a bit rough but it might hopefully help eliminate part of the system.

Good luck!
