The place to come to share your technical expertise, or just find out what the little springy thing is that's just pinged out of sight under the work-bench.

Just checked - it does vibrate when stationary and more obvious when riding. At 60 or 80 its fine. It doesn't feel like wheel balance or tyre pressure.

Not aware of this at all. :-)
I will hopefully get to the bottom of it in the next week!
A big thanks for the help as always
I have nipped these up today but it's been awful with heavy rain so unable to try it out. I've actually managed to fit my new stainless bones too today
I didn't know this- explains the long engine mounting bolt which I thought had come from something else
When I got my bike the exhaust had been repaired (badly) just after the exup valve and had a spacer behind the mounting bracket. I thought it had been put in because of the repair.
Best go and find another nut in the garage tomorrow!
