MOT soon for my 'NEW' Foxeye?

Post by BONLY1 »

Had this Foxeye since 2012.
Other posts show how I've been struggling with carb rebuild, but today I fired her up for the first time in FIVE years!!
Not been in a rush to get her sorted but am about to move house so had to get it done.
Have to say that I'm now quite chuffed with meself, 'cos she's sounding luvly and crisp off the throttle too.
All been worth it so far.
Further pic's and detail to follow.
Second pic here is showing off Stigs lovely shiny bits holding my Maxton unit together along with my nicely refurbed exup valve.
Dunno if my knees are up to it though, I'm a bit older than I was.

Nuggitt, you DO remember I have that cleaning tank don't you????
If you want to get the carbs to me by jungle telegraph (or bring em to Whitby)
I could get them cleaned for you

I'd forgotten you had a tank.

I will definately keep that in mind my good man. Once I get my old crate running properly. I'll strip the spare carbs down and drop them off at your holiday home in Whitby.
Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.
