The place to come to share your technical expertise, or just find out what the little springy thing is that's just pinged out of sight under the work-bench.

Hi all

Are these worth changing the originals ones too? Not sure what watt the standard one are!

I think the original ones are 35w. I'll have look tomorrow unless somebody comes along before morning. :nod:
Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

R models have 2# 35w bulbs. Think they're H7 from memory

I've fitted 2# 55/60w H4....... that's prob what melted the. Objector in the plug behind the headstock when I couldn't turn the ignition off :D

Think I might just leave the originals in then if they may melt my connectors!

Just thinking cars might see me more in the day as I always have my lights on! :unibrow:

increased wattage in mine to give higher beam but I have to look at the alternator etc as the revs drop right off on tickover, pulling up at lights etc
