Hello Tim. Is it the same as a 1990 model? I'm not 100% sure if I have one or not till I get home. When I do I'll have a look for you.

They are the same 89-95. I'll have a look in my box of bits but don't think I have a spare

Nope, if it's a '92 it's a plain old RU - but believe the cylinder is the same anyways as Stig said.
IF IT AIN'T BROKE - FIX IT 'TILL IT IS.

Well, it was 1st registered in 92, it has original bodywork and I believe it was imported and so I think it is a 92 foxeye, but if all the master cylinders are the same, has anyone got one they would sell?

Sorry Tim. I've looked everywhere but I can't find it. I think I'm getting mixed up with a rear brake light switch. (which I've got two of)

Many thanks for looking, thankfully I managed to get the circlip out of the M/C and then blew the piston out......good clean up and woohoo back brake working again. Sun is out so it's time to go for a run.

mmmm went well, maybe surprisingly everything did what it should.....and sun still shining. Will probably be a bit more confident when the tyres are scrubbed back in. But well pleased with the weekend's result of an MOT, a brake problem fixed for the foreseeable future and a blat out on the road to Muirkirk and back. Hmm what next, R1? SP1? Panigale? GPz900?
