Petition to raise the speed limit from 70 - 90 mph

Although this would be great for most of us if this happened, I cant help thinking its a bad idea.
Half the population cant drive properly at 30mph never mind allowing them to drive at 90.

These petitions are about as much use as our tool maker at work.

It sounds cynical but if these things worked, they would stop them altogether.
