Clutch lever,,,,,wires??

The place to come to share your technical expertise, or just find out what the little springy thing is that's just pinged out of sight under the work-bench.

Hi people,,,,what are the 2 wires for that are attached to the rear of the clutch lever....and what if they arent connected????

Those will be connected to the switch that senses if the clutch is released or pulled in. If I remember correctly (mine was disconnected and the wiping cut off to the loom by the previous idiot/owner) it stop the bike from starting while in gear (other than neutral) without the clutch pulled in.
If you can't do a job properly, don't do it at all !!!
