based in Manchester
aged 53 married with a son
loves bikes and fishing
just bought an exup may be a bit of carb problems so could do with another set 1989 ?

Welcome to the madhouse

There's a few posts in the workshop section about carb issues. All the carbs are interchangeable from 89-95
There's also info about Toobs wear in the following link and we also do group buys on Toobs n needle jets if you need some

Carbs pal Deffo the carbs I think they have been cleaned with a sand laster with sand in everywhere!

That doesnt sound good....you sure its not rust from the tank??
Has she been stood a while with old fuel in the system..
If you rotate your fuel filter 180 degrees and check the underside, where fuel has been sat, if theres rust in your system you will have a visible tide line and discolouration of the filter. A good sign she's been sitting around for a while.
