I have managed to break the glass on rev counter, is it possible to just change glass or do I need to get a new unit ? , cheers.

As its broken anyway why not give it a try, you can get plexiglas on ebay and cut it to shape very easy.
I don't suppose the glass will just come out to be replaced I would guess its bonded in but I would think with a bit of work (dremmel) it would come out neatly and silicon back in.
A job I have lined up for my fzs1000, scratched glass last owner.
Or these guys you can laser cut it for you
