carb question,,,

The place to come to share your technical expertise, or just find out what the little springy thing is that's just pinged out of sight under the work-bench.

carb question,,,

Post by andy88 »

Hi all....can anybody shed some light on this for me???
Looking at swapping carbs on my bike.. 1992 ru ex 3lg.
Carbs in question are off a 3GM, stamped up to 97?.
Will these go straight on or do i have to start messing with new intakes etc.

This has probably been asked many times before, but my web searches just bring back tuning guides and parts.

Thanks people...

All the carbs are bdst38 and will fit all years 89-95. Just check the jets are the right size as some have dynojet jet kits fitted by owners of they may originate from Europe where they run different size jets due to power/emissions laws
