slight knocking at low revs

slight knocking at low revs

Got a slight knocking noise coming off my motor.as soon as revs pick up it goes.bike seems to run ok any ideas fellas ?

make sure exup valve is correctly adjusted as it can give a off a sound like that if the cables are loose

No valve in the system its a valveless exhaust so still scatching my head.

Its a rolling knocking stig.its at tickover and goes away when the revs pick up.carnt pinpoint area...checked the usual suspects .loose clamps carb rubbers etc.bike goes as well as it always has just this knocking is driving me mad

If it's only when moving then it may be a tight spot in the chain of loose front sprocket?

No noise when riding Stig i was describing the noise as a rolling turning sound when bike is idle and sat at tickover

Take a long extension bar put one end on engine and cup other end in hand and hold to ear.
It will magnify any noise and might help locate it.

Cam chain ?
