Last September my brother was involved in an road accident . He was the driver of this bus
What you see above is a steam engine approx 16 tons in weight.
The Lorry and the bus never touched it just so happened that the engine ne fell off the Lorry just as it was passing the bus.
He was crushed in his cab and had to be cut free and needless to say he wasn't expected to live with punctured lungs crushed bones and most of his stomach hanging out!
On the road to recovery now and happy to be alive amazing what can happen on a normal day at work! Big thanks to Essex air ambulance and royal London hospital he wouldn't be here without there help.
My little bro lucky ? Unlucky?
Chuff me. Lucky is the word alright. You'd never think the human body could survive such a massive blow like that. But there he is, still with us thank heavens. I had to chuckle to myself when I saw where the bus was going.
Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.
first thoughts:
second thoughts, thats a damn fine set of scars, ill drink to that mans continued recovery tonight!
