SIGNING IN TWICE

Post by BONLY1 »

Have noticed that all my first attempts to sign in are just sending me back to the initial page and I have to sign in again.
Anyone else having this happen?

Second attempt, same input, is always successful. Never used to happen, but all the time lately.

I'm not having any trouble at this end but there's been a few alterations with the site a few weeks back. Maybe there's a gremlin in the works.

Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

Shouldn't have to sign in twice. Try a different pc.
If prob is just on one then need to run virus and malware scans
If it's on both give me a shout when I get home and I'll look into it

Got three bikes but only one PC

Post by BONLY1 »

Hmmm, haven't tried another PC, but this coincides with my starting to use CHROME instead of MS Edge on Windows 10.
I did get a pop up on Edge which was removed via help with Virgin Media, and have been using CHROME since instead 'cos it appears more user friendly (to me) than Edge.
Signing in with Chrome - takes two attempts.
I'm back here on 'Edge' at the moment (which is the MS Windows 10 newest version of the familiar web browser 'IE') and it works fine with just a single attempt to sign in.
Anti virus fine, up to date and running, guessing some conflict with Chrome? Anyone else using Chrome or perhaps could try?
Everything else appears fine.

Done that, no change.
have reported issue to Google, though I doubt they'd get back to me, who knows?
Can still log in, just strange in the way having to do it twice on chrome, yet not on IE or Edge.
Will let you know if anything resolves it.
