Braced swingarm on my bike.

Collected the bike yesterday and rode it 220 miles over the weekend and absolutely delighted, but as there is no chainguard I decided to get a new hugger, however I have just realised its had a braced swingarm fitted. What is it off, an R 1 ?

think its off the Yamaha yzf750.i had one on my exup but have taken it off to fit a single sider ( work in progress!! )

Is it a good mod from a handling point of view, I mean apart from stiffness which is good, what else does it change.? Is it shorter than the std YZF1000R?

Simon fitted one to his Fzr. Mostly for looks but personally not rode a modded bike for comparison
