K&N pod filters

Post by Gord »

My 1993 YZF750 has a dynojet kit fitted and was set up on the rolling road with 114.5BHP @rw.
Today I swapped the standard air box (with K&N panel filter) for 2 K&N oval pod filters, it seems to be even better now.
It pulls from nothing, the EXUP valve works perfect and it just wants to rev and Rev.
The bonus is an awesome noise coming from the air filters, reminds me of the ram air noise from my ZX9R years ago.

Has anybody else fitted pod filters?

YZFkev had pods on that tuned animal he built. Went like a scalded cat and sounded awesome

What do I do with the breather pipe? Do I just fit a mini filter to it? You can get them from EBay for a few quid.
