99 - 02 R6 Callipers on an 87 FZR1000

I've been informed that the callipers from a 99 - 02 R6 will bolt straight onto my 87 Genesis FZR1000.

Ive got a few questions for those "in the know".

Do I need the R6 master cylinder?

Are the callipers the same as the ones fitted to the Mk1 600 Fazer?

Do they "bolt straight on" with no mods to them or the fork legs/discs?

Should I do it? The FZR is standard apart from a pipe, should I just rebuild the master cylinder and keep it standard?
