are the infill panels for the fairing interchangable,seen some on ebay but they are for the ru .mines a 89 r model,

Sorry Rob but they won't fit. They're a completely different shapes altogether on the RU.
Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

It's a pity Mr Yamaha didn't make the RU shape to fit our R model. They're a lot stronger and don't seem to break as easily like what our flimsy things do.

One consolation is if you have the ru model the i fils are more freely available and tend to be reasonably priced at present
