nuggitt wrote:Well that's a shame Dave. I was going to let you have the prime parking spot this year seeing as I banished you into the NCP car park over the road at the last Lincoln meet up.

Could we the chuckle brothers (Mike and myself) come and help sort out your running issues with your bike? We'll promise not to laugh at your little 750. Honest
Yep, still not forgiven you for that insult John! :p

Thanks for the kind offer of help, I may well take you up on it. To be honest, I'm losing the will to live with at the moment, the more I try to do to it the worse it gets.
I'll have another go at it in the next few days and see what happens.
Have fun at Lincoln but what out for that guy who's foot got run over last year - he's going to be waiting for you.

Talking to Mike last night and he was saying he's taking egg sandwiches and a flask of tea for his lunch. Well he his if he can get his 3rd used tea bag dry in time. As they say every little helps.

Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

Despite all the derogatory comments about my economical management of resources, I would like to confirm that I will be attending this years Lincoln meeting of the exup owners forum members.

As nuggitt said, it will be nice to put a face to a name (Nick aka robertcains)
Don't worry Nick, I'll just have the small Sunday lunch if you don't mind :D

Nuggitt and I are going early tomorrow and will try to save parking spaces.

See you all there

There could be 6 of us in total. 5 red white and blue ones and a black one that's coming from Coventry. That's what Dave said in a text to me last night anyway. :D

See you all tomorrow lads. Go easy.

Well that's another Lincoln trip under the belt.

It's been a cracking day out and we met up with a couple of new faces, Nick and Phil. Pleasure to meet you lads.

After having a good walk round all the stalls and numerous cups of tea. (No scones included) It was time to move on to pastures new. (Dave) rdgravy, Mike and I went up to Willingham Woods. With Mike or me not knowing the way to go. Dave volunteered and said he's lead the way but he'll only be going steady. Very funny Dave      First bit of open road and whooooosh he was chuffin gone. If it hadn't have been for some traffic lights on red we'd have never caught him up. When we arrived, there wasn't many bikes at Willingham Woods but within half an hour it was quite full. I found a pound coin and have a guess who tried to claim that he'd just pulled his phone out of his pocket and the coin came out with it. Don't think to hard.

Better not say what we got upto on the way home. But it was good fun. :D :D

When I got home I had a text waiting for me on my phone and it was from turncoat Karl the posh BMW owner. Saying we've been seen. It seems Karl got there in the end after all. We'll have to meet up soon Karl for a buzz round to Scarborough or somewhere.

Here's today's photos....

I was in such a rush to get the photos on here. I forgot to thank Mike for the round of teas. Thank you Michael it was the best cuppa of the day. Also big thanks to speedy Gonzalez rdgravy for his round. I do hope Nick doesn't think he's got away with his round. We've all got good memories.
