MV brutale. :D
Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

There has been a lot of talk about people being sent an email that they have been successful in their application for an R1M but that there has been a mistake at Yams end and most will not get one even though they have the email.
Hopefully for you this is not the case.
I wonder with there being only 80 bikes allocated for the UK if you have a choice in the colour scheme or do you just get what you get.

All is good. Yamaha have confirmed the bike is mine and expect delivery in February. I'll leave it till March when the 15 plate comes in.
Only one colour scheme on the R1M. Carbon body with silver and blue highlights plus polished alloy tank.
Keep on keepin' on.

It gets better.

We would like to congratulate you on your purchase of the new YZF-R1M, the most sophisticated production Superbike ever built by Yamaha!

With its track focused specification and array of advanced electronic controls, the R1M brings M1-derived MotoGP technology to the private racer and track day rider.

As an R1M owner you will be invited to participate in one of the exclusive Yamaha Racing Experience (YRE) events that are taking place in summer 2015 at four major European circuits.

Each of these events will commence on the evening before the track experience with a special dinner at the circuit. The following day the YRE will take place at the race circuit, and will include track tuition from Colin Edwards. Factory technicians will be available to give professional set-up advice - and you will also have the chance to meet guests from the world of Yamaha Racing!

Soon you will receive the password to a dedicated website. From January 15th , 2015 this website will help you to arrange your Yamaha Racing Experience.

Once again, we would like to congratulate you on being the owner of the limited edition R1M.

Looking forward to seeing you on the track in July!

Best regards,
Yamaha Motor Europe N.V., branch UK
Keep on keepin' on.
