Stafford Classic Bike Show
Stafford Classic Bike Show
Had a wander around the Stafford Bike Show today. Loads and loads of Rd's, TT 500's and all the other stuff. Not a bad show really. Spent all day looking for an FZR and didn't see one, until right at the end when I found one that had just been auctioned in Bonhams auction rooms. Couldn't find out how much it went for so I checked on line and it doesn't look like it sold. Jees I could've spent another week just looking around there.

Fortunately I was in a friends car so it's probably no on both counts I'm afraid. It's around a hundred miles I think. Wouldn't have thought twice about going on my bike tho really. Mind you I love driving/riding. Been down to Swansea and back today. Wouldn't want to do that in a day on my bike tho. I'd never be able to roll me ciggys.

Not sure if I'm allowed on my Gixxer. I live 10mins from Matlock and have almost given up on Derbyshire now. Too many cameras, unmarked plod and cages. Like Lincolnshire better.dangerousdave wrote: fair weather rider myself, think we all need to do a good run out again next year maybe meet in matlock as its quite central for everyone.
Keep on keepin' on.

What did I just say?fzted wrote:If its dry Saturday afternoon might have a ride up to Matlock!
Anyway Ted, what are you riding in case I find myself in Matlock?
Because Matlock is overcrowded a few of us meet at the Woodside Cafe in the large layby at the bottom of the Via Gellia. Very biker friendly.
Fireblade plod also uses it.
Keep on keepin' on.
