I've got hold of Mike re: link pipe and it's in two halfs until a later date so it's not much good. Sorry John.
Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

Cheers stig, just the grip will be fine for the moment, especially if your not well.

Nugget, will this lever work with the standard mc? If so, and you don't want it I'll gratefully have it. Cheers for enquiring about the link pipe.

I think I'll just save the cash and get a link pipe and can, been looking about and I can see three different ends...so probably best to get a full set.

I'm ok for indicators, gonna wire my old scooter set back on for the moment.

Thank you to everyone for your help so far, joe111 you have a pm re carbs.

John

I've been checking things over in the garage to why I bought it. It won't fit the standard MC because it's from an Fazer 600. I have my original front brake lever so you can have that instead.

PM me your address John.

Cheers for everyone's help and parts, everything is now fitted and the bike fires up great! Got all my bits put back on, brakes bled, clutch bled, gear shift fitted, new carbs and air box.

Just waiting on fuel tank now and I need to get a new numberplate...no idea where mine went, then it's ready for the road.

Unfortunately though my clocks don't appear to have survived the incident, they usually power up fine, but they regularly crap out, won't respond to some button inputs and goes haywire when the rad temperature sender is plugged in...bugger! Going to see if the company I bought it from can repair it, if not it's gonna have to be purchased again...bugger.

Did you get the ignition barrel or find a way to fix it?

the ignition barrel is now working - with the aid of a screwdriver.

to joe, i stripped the carbs down to check for dirt/issues, none found, they are in really good condition. carbs were running 132 jets, replaced with the 128's from my old carbs as im no longer running a k&n filter, ill get the bike run on a dyno when i get it all put back together.

exhaust has arrived today, carbon slash cut shorty...should wake the neighbours :D
