Out of the virtual closet

Post by Doug »

Hi all, thought it was time i showed myself after a good deal of time watching and gleaning some good useful info from the forum. I've a '91 Exup 1000. What a cracking bike. i can't believe how stable and smooth a 23 yr old bike can be. It has that special richness just off closed throttle that made me initially think it had suicidal tendencies every time i tried pulling away at a busy junction. I re- filled the shock with some old fork oil to get through the summer and fitted some sticky tyres and took it to this years version of the festival of 1000 bikes at Mallory park.
it's a pleasure to say hi. Are all forum members from up north?

Welcome to the forum Doug.
Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

There's a few of us southerners on here! Welcome.

I'm down in Farnborough, working in Reading if you need anything.
