I'm just putting the feelers out to see if anybody fancies having a ride over to Kirkby lonsdale on Saturday 16th of August. It's not the best day to go (to many police about to spoil the fun) but we have to cater for those poor buggers that have to work through the week.
The weather forecast isn't brilliant but should be dry over there in the wild west. 16c with cloud and a stiff north wind.
Anybody brave enough to leave their vests off for this trip?

Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

Not much of a crowd for this road trip is there?
If any of the East York's chapter fancy meeting up tomorrow (Sunday) I'll be at Seaways cafe at 12 noon. I'm having a ride out to Blakey Ridge, then on to Sandsend. Mike if you're coming, bring your purse. When I say bring your purse I mean bring your purse with some cash in it.

We've had a fantastic afternoon. Mike and a friend on his Triumph speed triple came along for the ride. The scenery on the moors at Blakey Ridge was out of this world. Had a good ride into Sandsend too. The ride back was a nice one over the moors from Pickering to Malton.
