RU EXUP Front Spindle
Is there a difference between the RU front fork spindle and the one from the foxeye as IIRC the Foxeye has Ohlins forks?

Please someone set me straight on this.
1990 model front spindle = 3GM25181-00-00
91-93 = 1HX25381-01-00
94-95 = 3GM25181-A0-00
....what are differences and have I got info right?
Cheers.

Check the main site 'technical' data section where you can see both spindles for earlier RU and Foxeye. That way you'll be able to tell what you've got.
The Foxeye spindle IS deffo different to the earlier RU in that the Foxeye spindle appears to be the same design as the Thunderace / YZF750 (unsure if they're interchangeable though) while the earlier RU spindle looks similar to the right way up 89/90 models.
The Foxeye has a hollow castellated end and threaded other end, while the earlier RU has a proper nut job and threaded end if that makes sense?

Although I've had no problems with front end over last 5 years, The spindle looks slightly oversize to me....I'm lost.
I assumed it might have been replaced by a later foxeye or yzf one.

The spindle appears to be a hybrid of the two listed in that the bolt head is same as 91RU and the shaft of the spindle is thicker than the rest where it seats in fork leg bottom.
