Mine has nothing like that Chris; you can rotate the casing .
Have had to dig the parts books out as I thought the starters were identical on all models.
It seems the 2TK starter has different internals to the 3EN starter I have repaired.
They are the same externally though and can be swapped over on the engines (not a lot of use at this stage though).
