yzf 750 cam holders

hi all, i was wondering if anyone in the know could answer this question. I have decided to check and change the shims on my own for the first time. as I was reading the manual it states that when refitting the exhaust cam holders the rear outer bolt on each holder is torqued to a lower value ie 8 instead of 10nm, so my question is what bolt on each holder is this when looking from the front of the engine and what is the reason for the difference, thanks

Those two arrowed are the 8Nm bolts. The front of the engine is facing you. As for why? I don't question the Yamaha design and technical team's wisdom, I just do as they say.[/img]

Don't go off the info from the Haynes manual as it is wrong (as is MMUK).
Have a look at the proper Yamaha service manual (you can download it off this site).
The 8 Nm bolts are the 4 outer one on the intake caps, not the exhaust.
See pages 4-83 & 4-84 which indicates the exact bolt positions.
