R1 caliper change

Post by simonb »

When R1 calipers are fitted with the R1 master cylinder to an RU what brake lines do you use?
Seems a bit tight with the Exup ones.
Thanks in advance.

Just wondered because of angle of fittings really.
Might get away with ru ones but a bit tight and unsure what r1 fittings are like from m/c.

When you fit the blue spots from the R1 the end banjo's are the wrong way on. They are 90 degrees to the caliper. Get some new lines made with the banjo's correct way on. Measure your old lines to get length. If your using the R1 lines they will be too short.
