A little help needed re forks

Hi, I recently sold a yoke cover for an FZR1000 1989 which I am assuming is the first exup but the buyer says it is 20mm too narrow.
The hole centres for the forks on the yoke cover are 200mm apart but he says his forks are 220mm apart. Have I made a cock up here?

I am wondering if the one I have is for the earlier Genesis.

you can breathe a sigh of relief mate. My std 1990 forks are spaced at 200mm centres, I've just been out to measure and make sure

If buyer gets arsey I'll take a pic for you with ruler along side of yolk to confirm. You can then refer him to the image

I think he may either have the RU, which is 220mm or possibly the Genesis.
I'll see what he comes back with.

it may be the R model and had upside downers fitted...freak did his R model like that

Never thought of that, a lot can be done to a bike in 25 years.
