Just a quick post to thank Stig, Banner and Nuggitt for the helpful advice over the last week or so. My FZR is now up and running She's running a bit on the rough side but not as rough as my nails lol. I'm sure a bit of fiddling with the carbs will sort that out. She does smell to be running a bit rich and has done 33,000 miles so treating her to a new set of toobs might be in order.

You read my mind Stig, I was just reading the toobs post. I'll have to save my pennies and get in touch as soon as I can afford. I also need to check out the float hights as all new needles fitted. I still can't believe she fired on the first press of the start button though
