Ebay Tosser

Post by oldskoolexup »

I won an auction for an item and confirmed a Paypal payment the following morning. Then received a mail from seller saying "can't sell it at that price".

Gist of it is that he refunded, without referring to me and then offered to sell to me at twice auction price!

Any thoughts lads??

Done both, following emails back and forth where he proved to be a total w***er.

Ebay don't seem to have done anything other than say don't do it again.

I think refusing to sell then offering at over twice price was serious enough for them to ban him. Perhaps they need the fees more!!

it'd help if you named the seller. Everyone else would know to avoid him then

I'd rather stick pins in myself than deal with yemot01 again.

I had the same with a Renault 5 Turbo. Won the auction then asked when I could pick it up and he turns around and says he could break it for more than that and couldn't let it go at that price.
My reply was use Gumtree to sell if you want to fuck someone around, not an auction site.
