Brake piston

But of a long shot, but does anyone have a rear brake calliper piston for a Thunderace (96) or any other that will fit?????

I have a FZR item. What diameter are they for the ace?

Couldn't find my callipers so had to order another one of Amazon. As soon as it arrives I will get back to you with piston size.

they're usually a standard size so near enough should do

As far as I can see the YZF1000 underslung caliper is differant to a FZR1000.

it must be a yank site they are great at confusing the ace with the R1
check out the nose cone diagram for the ace - looks like a R1 to me lolol

im sure the ace is same as yzf 750 caliper if that helps

OP only wanted the piston. These are usually std sizes 30mm dia, 32mm dia etc

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you Stig.


Piston Diameter is 42.81mm and piston height is 21mm. Also the piston has M12 stamped on the inside bottom (the side facing the pad.

yes mate got one of those. Its also got the M12 on the inner face
