A ride out today

Post by nuggitt »

Three of us had a ride out today. Starting from my house. We went through Helmsley and on to the what I call TT course road to Stokesley the B1257. Fantastic bit of road that is. We stopped on top of the moors near Guisborough for bacon and sausage sandwiches. Then on to the Whistlestop cafe in Whitby for a cuppa. Then we stopped at Wetwang where some of the lads had fish and chips. I'm on a diet, not like someone I could mention.

This is for roadrunner. He seems to have forgotten what it looks like and what it means. :retard:

Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

I've ordered some new spark plugs from eBay. I was having a bit of a miss fire on the ride out yesterday. :crybaby: So I'm starting with new plugs to begin with and see if they cure it.

If the plugs come tomorrow and I get them fitted I could pop over and have a cuppa with you. It will be a test ride to see how it goes. :D

Hi Karl.

I've got the new plugs in and it sounds a lot better, so I'll test it out tomorrow going to Seaways.

I'll see you there. Get the teas in lad. :D

I woke up this morning to blue sky and sunshine. Thought to myself it's going to be a nice day for a test ride to Seaways. Got the bike ready and went in to go my leathers on. When I came outside the blue sky and sunshine had vanished and it was a cold wind blowing. Roadrunner came along for the ride and we met up with Karl at Seaways. We were both bloody frozen when we got there.

The car park was full to the brim with bikes. I did take my camera but my cold hands wouldn't stop shaking enough for me to take a photo of all the bikes. I think Karl said he's taken some photos so He'll put them on later. He's gone on to Bridlington, where as Roadrunner and myself have gone back to our lovely warm homes. Now I've got back home it's lovely blue sky again. Damn it!!

Here's some photos from Karl (undeadhairy) showing the car park full of bikes at Seaways. It was flipping cold up there though. :(
