exup motor problems

Post by dangerousdave »

Ok chaps here's one for you, as some of you are aware I've glued a turbo on the Ru and no longer need the exup motor, so after the the motor was removed from the cdi unit it runs like it's hitting the limiter halfway through the revs, without going back out to the garage I'm sure there was 6 wires that connect up to it, can some of them be bridged on the unit to eliminate this problem and which ones are they?
Cheers Dave.

No. You need to build or buy a resistor unit for the engine to believe that the servo is still connected.
