Thunderace Rev problem

Post by TokenYank »

So the thunderace has had the exup valve and servo removed, so reports the fault through the tacho... However, unless you are going down the road, the engine won't rev past 7k RPM. Is this a 'feature' of the bike cause of the exup valve issue? or is there something more going on?
Yeah, I'm that loud mouth yank that sits in the corner and only ever says "DDDUUUUUUDDDEEEEEE!!!!!!!"

And if so, how do I trick the CDI into thinking the servo is in good working order?

Can you not leave the servo on but without the cables?

As said, try running the bike with the servo plugged in.
