Looking to replace the petrol pipes on my '94 FZR1000RU Exup
Easy enough to order with part numbers but don't really need expensive o/e - I'm measuring my old tubes (internal diameter) at 7mm and there's plenty on fleabay including woven wrapped too.
Anyone know the proper size for sure? Any recommendations?
I'd recommend genuine, the pipe from the pump to the tank is a formed shape, there's possibilities of fuel starvation if it's not correctly fitted and sized.
I have to agree with the above comments after suffering from fuel starvation and having to push my bike 2 kilometres to my home. I Actually use another type of hose though but have a spring in it and wrapping on the outside to stop it from deforming when you put the tank down.
