Hello Crux, and welcome to the madhouse. Tidy looking R1 you have there - I've always had a soft spot for them in blue. Put your feet up and make yourself at home!

So, I've had the new one just for 2 weeks. It's 2005 and I'm the second owner I couldn't afford the new one. The new R1 is incredible and cannot be compared to the 99 I had in any aspect. Needless to mention the power, the worst thing about 99 is the position, I'm 6.04 and and it was unbelivably uncomfortable while 2005 feels as it was made for me. The best part about 99 is the tendency to jump on the rear wheel on the first gear while 2005 seems to be easier to control.
