It wouldnt start for the first turn over, just flicked the reserve switch and away she went, didnt realise the petrol level in the tank was so low!

All i`m waiting for now is choke assembly to arrive, then its time to start prepping and painting the bodywork, i`ve got the decals ready, just need to sort out the right colour paint for my scheme......

looking good mate what colour you doin it prepping takes ages hope you know what your letting yourself in for i,ve spent the last 6 weekends preping mine and its only in primer

Three colours, Yellow, Black and a bit of White.
I vaguely remember the hassle when i prepped and painted my XJ650 all those years ago!

That bike is so clean. Seems a shame to get it dirty. You dont need body work to ride it either. Just bang on a seat and give her a spin.

Latest update, spent all weekend fixing and bending brackets, bodywork on, bodywork off, bodywork on etc, finally got there!
Just awaiting mirror mounting rubber plates then i think its about ready for MOT!

I think the spray job is on hold for the moment, going to get it MOT`ed and have a couple of weeks riding as it is, then decide if to do it myself or get it done proffessionally.
