I'm getting a new shed on Saturday which will be my polishing shed so if you fancy popping round to have a blinging session you are more than welcome. I've even got a kettle in the garage.

The shed is up and waiting for me to wire some sockets and lights in. I'll do that tomorrow and then it's polishing galore.

was there a minimum charge and what sort of quality is the finished product close up?

Started putting the bike back together at last.
The shock reservoir is just hooked up out of the way, that would be too uncomfortable to sit on where it is.
Hopefully get the engine in tomorrow, a mate is calling round and between us and the trolley jack we should manage OK.
Andy, if you're free later on that would make three glass backs.

Oooh, shiny!
Stig will be jealous!
I used a trolley jack to get the engine back in the FZ, with the help of Lisa as well, trickiest part was balancing the engine on the jack.

Had a look at putting the engine back in today and can't for the life of me remember which way round the top hat things go in the front engine mounts. The diagrams show them as being on the outside of the frame but the bolts are allen bolts which I presume fit inside the holes.
Can anyone enlighten me?

Cheers Paul, that helps a lot, the top hats go on the inside with allen bolts.
What were the bolts I got chromed then?
