when i did my yzf with r1 front end 04
i used r6 rear 04 same style
thinner sizes on r6 04 4.5
r1 04 5.5 maybe 6
r6 are cheaper than r1 :D

A 190/55 is meant for a 6" rim-typically a wheel from the R1. The 5.5" rim is best suited to a 180/55 tyre.

That is the part that holds the front of the airbox in place and front of the tank. it doesnt seem to be from an RU as it doesnt have the screen brace attached. (maybe its been cut off to fighter it).

Thanks for that, it looks like it's been hacked about a bit, there are saw marks on the tube bits. :thumbsup:

I've done the front wheel now, the back's going to be a tads more work.

It's an XJR one which actually fits the R1 forks. Just getting a wheel spacer made to replace the speedo drive and I'm done. :thumbsup:
