Very nice parappadog. You'll need that dark visor to stop the glare from all that snow
Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

Its an air pump which inflates the cheek and crown pads for a perfect fit.. The small button is to deflate it so u can get it off ur bonce..

A bit like them shite reebok pump trainers from the eighties...

I tried one on a while back and whilst very comfy and brilliant fit when pumped up... i was concerned that should the worst happen and someone else has to remove lid they may not know how to deflate it and cause other issues

Worth thinking about is that.. I wouldnt blow it up too tight anyways as it would get un-comfy and it doesnt feel any tighter than an old AGV rossi rep i have when inflated to how i like it..
Im more worried about wearing a lid which is old.. I try replace my lid every 2 years as i use em on track and prob 7-8000 road miles in that time..
