the wifes clothes rail was a great idea
do you think it'll catch on in the motogp paddock
can picture stoners mechanics changing the back tyre while hanging

well its a few months on now and what with holidays and work i havnt moved forward much
i've got the wheels powder coated gloss black along with the sprocket carrier new chain and sprockets and a wavey rear disc

the bodywork is soul destroyingly slow i've got lots left to do

i bought a single seat unit off flea bay that still hasnt arrived :(

and new yzf sp forks from parapadog that are amazingly bling

i also picked up a carbon gp exhaust from ebays robmoto, tidy for the money cant wait to hear it

will post pics in the next few days

I have some standard 165s Pauly...next time you're down visiting the kids...

I like the red anodised chain adjusters. There're loads more quality ally bits on the bike which respond well to anodising, so long as the parts arn't already clear anodised. The standard blocks on my Exup were clear, but after some worthwhile polishing they coloured well in red. The rear caliper bracket, the torque arm, front fairing bracket & loads of other little bits also anodised nicely after being polished.

well i've got my exhaust through the post from robmoto
its a stubby motogp type from ebay and looks cool
also other bits n bobs renthal grips, assorted stainless bolts,bar end weights, titax levers,footrest hangers,
and a tap & die set which has now been round the whole bike it took ages
but will be worth it in the long run
put my first coat of filler primer on the seat unit and it reacted badly so needs flatting back AGAIN :crybaby:
the nose cone has almost beaten me so am taking it to a fibreglass shop to get them to tidy it up
was going to paint it myself but i think i'm going to get someone to do it for me - any sprayers in or around glasgow that anyone knows of will help, i hate cold calling and not knowing what the final finish will be

You could give englishbiker a try on the FZR1000.co.uk forum. (when it opens up again that is ) From what I've heard he's shit hot at spraying. I think he lives in the Newcastle on Tyne area. :nod:
