I found one at last

Post by joeboy »

Ive been looking for a tacho for my fighter for years, there all too expensive or cable type.

I have at last found the perfect solution, it has a built in battery and a built in run timer to tell you how many hours your engine has run for.

They have 2 wires, one wraps around a coil lead the other goes to earth how easy is that.

Bargain.

Hey Joe.

Looks a good bit of kit that..
Is it tacho accurate when its running.. I have used a couple of aftermarket tachos and found em to be behind or the figures dance all over the place even at tickover..
Spending all my money on toys and then trying to find the time to ride em all.. I need a BIGGER garage..

I got it today and fitted it, very easy to fit just one wire and you wrap the end around any coil lead 3 or 4 times.

The lcd is second or so behind but works well for tickover adjustment and on the road but it seems a little lazy on top revs. But for 11 quid its a good deal.
