There are some great products now for repairing them yourself, i have some powder that you sprinkle in the crack from behind and when you add the activator it welds them back together and fills any gaps..you can for new lugs and stuff with it.

I have found that ordinary superglue works surprisingly well on
whatever plastic these are made out of.

It does work ok but doesnt fill and is a bit brittle..this powder stuff seems to cold weld the parts back together and has some flex in it when its cured.

Sorry, its called plastex you can get it in white or black and different size kits, i think mine was about 15 quid and ive used it loads of times.

Yeah I've used plastex also, and if you do it right it is good for filling
and making shapes.
