Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

nowt wrong with the scoots John. Spend loads of time mucking about with Liams.
dead easy to work on and cheap to run, great to tune coz its a real challenge to make them proper fast
Liams restricted 50 does 72mph

Of course they do - Now...
But shouldn't you be comparing the scoot to a Vincent Black Shadow, or BSA Thunderbolt or Lightening instead of the FZR?
Exup/V-Boost? Tomato/Tomato? Same meat - Different gravy
All the same innit? It's still a yam

I've had nowt to do with scoots but i've nowt against 'em,there is a club in my town that formed last year & they've got some tasty wheels & there isn't the animosity between bikers & scoot lovers like years ago.I'm sure a few bikers riding modern tackle wonder why we still keep our ageing fzrs on the road, its just a thing yer into at the end of the day..

Personally speaking..........i'd rather travel around on a sodding bus than have one of those bloody things.
Rode about on my old mans C70 while my old Bonnie was off the road. Now THAT'S embarrasing.
Still better than a scoot though.
